That strip of Rizal Avenue in Avenida from the ROBEN/AVENIDA Theater in C.M. Recto to Escolta near Quiapo Church all converted into promenade areas instead of PUV(Public Utility Vehicles) regular route. But they said it's the old look of ESCOLTA... is it? But the "Calesas"... what about them?

I agree. It is not really an "Escolta' look; different century, di ba ? Calesas would be nice.

I thought this is Plaza Lacson? and that is the tall statue of former Manila Mayor Lacson? and that's the FEATI University on the left and the Prudential Bank on the extreme right(not shown on picture). That's the bridge connecting the plaza to the Bus and Jeepney stations in front of old MET Theater and the Manila POST Office Building near MEHAN Garden.

This is used to be called Fort SNAXX at the corner of C. Benitez and P.Tuazon Boulevard in CUBAO near the Dagupan Bus and LVN Compound. It is now called The Chocolate Lover INC Bakery, Confectionery and Packaging Supplies.... so Disney-like..... and if your looking for confectionery sugars, half-and-half, marshmallows and other baking ingredients... this is surely an "oasis" for you. You may call (632) 411-7474 or 724-5752 or 724-4964. You may also visit their site at www.chocolatelover.com.ph/
And also, don't forget to visit the ADAM's Restaurant on the extreme right(not shown on picture) and get the best BULALO soup in town.

Whatever is their purpose on the overfrilled station roof of the Megatren Station, only time can tell. Maybe they will use it in quanting purposes using size-and-shapes. Isn't it intriguing that they are like demonstration materials in elementary chemistry like you're on a giant chem lab?

There is a manhole that is perpetually open immediately after you pass the SOGO Building on extreme right so this will serve as a warning to drivers heading for Makati. This is exactly at the corner of Aurora Boulevard and EDSA. The open-manhole is almost exactly the size of a tire and frequent victims are "taxis" that get stucked. So Be AWARE! And look at those "chicken wire" fencing. How grossed!

I just don't know why they have settled for Gilmore as station/train stop instead of Broadway. Imagine what can we "haute" if our AI keep on listening to voice-overs on the train coach something like "the next station is Broadway!" instead of Gilmore. Right now, the Megatren is not yet "over-crowded" like Metro Star and LRT. But say goodbye to enjoyable rides once it is as crowded. Regarding names of the streets, try checking-out with City Hall if whoever proposed those street names for they are relatively new names. Actually, "Arriving at Gilmore Station" is the exact voice-over immediately before the train stops. and "Paparating na sa Gilmore." A bilingual "feat" of public paging and a triumph of Filipino patriotism. Cheers!

This is the effect of putting thousands of lights around the Coliseum Circle at the Araneta Center. From left, the newly renovated and converted Quezon 1 and Quezon 2 Theaters into a UCKG House of Worship, the renovated National Bookstore(?), and the Gateway Mall(Center Area) where you can find the giant-50 foot palm trees inside, and the Araneta Coliseum on extreme right. View from Padi's Point at the Coliseum Circle.
